“Following the mass arrests at Zuccotti Park, protesters took off on winding march through lower Manhattan. Several more arrests took place as demonstrators moved in and out of traffic.
In one arrest witnessed by the Guardian on 10th Street, a protester was slammed into a glass door by a burly police officer, resulting in a large crack in the glass.”Via The Guardian
“Amid the chaos, maybe 100 of us quickly formed a march and headed north. The NYPD of course followed. Along the way, I witnessed several more brutal arrests. At one point, the officers had a young man pinned face-first into a wall and the march had moved on. I approached and asked his name in order to tell the National Lawyers Guild. The cop pushed me and yelled that I’d be arrested too, but I persisted as he repeatedly shoved me”. – Carrie M.
